Amenda Tate
Amenda Tate is a jewelry designer and metalsmith. She individually handcrafts each piece in her Denver, CO studio. Her works are contemplations, entertaining the idea that objects can be both organic in form and relation as well as mechanical in a functional format: adornment.
These contemplations materialize as wearable jewelry with a sculptural presence. She strives to balance dichotomy: organic/mechanical, natural/processed, expected/unpredictable, variety/repetition. She create alliterations in metal that possess a rhythmic quality in form.
